Here I Am Once Again Finding Myself Blogging YET Another Chicken Recipe lol. Although it May Seem Like it, Im Not Addicted to Chicken I Swear! Today im Going To Be Posting My Baked Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe. Now Theres Nothing Super Complex or Special About This Recipe Except My Recipe I Use For My BBQ Sauce. BBQ Sauce is Something Unique Sauce That You Can Flavor Up Any Kind of Way. You Can Do Honey BBQ, Hot BBQ, Mango BBQ, Hot Honey BBQ, Sweet Chili BBQ, You Name it!
Ingredients Used
- 1 Pack Chicken Legs
- 1 Bottle Regular BBQ Sauce
- Ketchup
- Brown Sugar
- Honey
- Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Stick of Butter
To Begin, Of Course You Want To Start By Washing And Seasoning Your Chicken. My Choice of Seasoning Consist of Creole Seasoning, Black Pepper, Poultry Seasoning, & Onion Power. In A Baking Pan Lay Your Chicken Out Evenly. A Special Trick I Learned From My Ex’s Grandmother is to Put A Pat Of Butter Underneath the Flap Chicken Skin. This Keeps The Chicken Tender & Juicy. I Like To Bake My Chicken With Foil On Top for the First Half of The Process. I Place My Chicken in The Oven and Let it Cook For About an Hour at 350 Degrees. While The Chicken Bakes You Can Get Started on Your BBQ Sauce. In A Mixing Bowl I Empty Out Some Plain BBQ Sauce to Use as My Base. Now in The South We Dont Use Measurements in the Kitchen, We Just Kinda Eyeball it and Pray for the Best. With My BBQ Sauce I Squeezed About 1/2 Cup of Honey and Ketchup, Added A Few Spoon Fulls of Brown Sugar, And A Couple of Drops of Worcestershire Sauce. If You Want To Add Some Spice to it You Can Also Add A Few Drops of Your Favorite Hot Sauce. Mix Well & Make Sure to Mix Well, Until Sugar is Dissolved &the Sauce isnt Grity. I Like to Pour My Sauce Over My Chicken When its About 75% Cooked So The Sauce Can Cook into The Meat. I Took The Foil Off My Pan, Covered My Chicken wiht BBQ Sauce & Let it Finish Cooking.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.
