Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Review- PCB Location

On My Birthday Me & My Friends Decided to Take A Trip Down to Panama City Beach, Fl. To Hang Out & Spend The Day Exploring. We Started of Playing & Having Drinks At Dave & Busters. For Those Who Dont Know Dave & Busters is, its Like An Adult Chuck E Cheese but Also Kid Friendly. This Was My First Time Going & I Was Quite impressed! They Has All Sorts Of Fun Games to Play For A Decent Price and Great Drinks During Happy Hour. After Playing For About An Hour Or So We Decided to Leave and Find A Nice Restaurant to Eat At. With it Being My Birthday I Was Excited to Find Somewhere I Had Never Been. As We Walked Down Pier Park We Came Across Some Pretty Nice Ones but Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Struct My Eye. Birthday? Friends? Margaritas? On the Beach ? Count Us in! (16230 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 )

Since it Was St Patrick Day Weekend & Spring Break The Beach Was Loaded With Families Out Having Fun. When We Arrived to the Restaurant it was Pretty Packed w/ Beachers but The Wait Time Wasn’t Too Bad. Since it Was Across the Street From the Beach They Had Outside Seating w/ A Nice View. After We Were Seated, Out Waitress Handed Us Our Menus & My First Thought Was to Find The Drink Specials because You Simply CANT Go to a Place Called Margaritaville & Not Try One of Their Special Margaritas. I Decided to Get the ” Last Mango in Paris” in A Souvenir Glass ( Funny Side Story: I Got So Drunk That Day I Ended Up Leaving The Glass) and The Drink Was Disappointing. I Was Expecting A Rush Of Tequila To Hit Me but I Couldnt Taste Anything But Mango Flavor. I Ended Up Ordering ARefill because it Didnt Do Much For Me. The Food Menu Was Pretty Simple, Honestly Less Than What I Expected but They Had Alot of Decent Options. Pretty Typical Beach Restaurant Food, Land Sea & Sandwich Options. Im Not A Big Seafood Eater & I Usually Order Steak at Restaurants so I Decided to Be Different & Get The Baby Back Ribs. My Other Option Was Going to Be Jimmy Jammin’ Jambalaya but Since I Had Visited New Orleans A Few Weeks Prior & Had Plenty of Jambalaya & Gumbo I Decided to Pass Up on The Offer. I Wish I Hadn’t Because When My Plate Arrived I Was Highly Disappointed. My Food Looked And Tasted Like Typical Chain Restaurant Food. Not Fancy or Anything Spectacular Like I Had Expected. My Portions Weren’t Very Plentiful and it Was Not Very Flavorful. The Ribs Were Suppossed to Have A Signature Sauce on Them but it Tasted Like Regular BBQ Sauce. I Feel As Tho I Could Have Went To TGI Fridays and Got the Same Food with Better Quality and For A Much Cheaper Price Just Like My Experience At Saltgrass Steak House. All and All I Was Not Pleased but The Overall Experience and Atmosphere Made Up For it.

My First Experience Here Was Not The Best But I Really Want to Give Them A 2nd Try. I Feel Like The Location Was So Busy They Didnt Perform Their Best because They Probably Were Rushing to Tend To All The Hungry Guest. I Dont Want to Believe That its Overrated Because its A Popular Beach Resort So im Going to Eventually Give Them A 2nd Chance and More Thank Likely Try Something Different.
